Welcome to the Create-a-Day Eyrie!

A little about what you'll find here:

My name is McKenna and I am an animation student at the Art Institute of Seattle. I draw, I write, I paint, I knit, I needlefelt, I make jewelry, I spin.

My intention with this blog is to post a little something I create every day, as a way to keep me inspired to create stuff and to share what I make- and, in the case of my non-scannable creations, to help improve my photography skills.

My schedule tends to be pretty busy, so I'm aware I won't always be able to create something post-worthy. On those days, I'll share an older piece, thoughts, or some other cool little doodad.

Sometimes I will post a piece available for sale (remember: poor college art student). When that happens, I'll provide links and information for purchasing. This will either be through my etsy shop or through Gargoyles Statuary, which carries most of my work.

I'll only post to the Etsy shop when I have something to sell, as between full-time art school and a part time job, managing an online shop is a bit more than I can regularly handle at the moment.

Mostly, I want this blog to be a fun place to post my work and thoughts. I hope you can enjoy it too.
